Eat out: Freshii

IMG_0746 copy

Freshii is one of my favorite lunch spots in Stockholm. Or not really the place itself, it’s only a take out restaurant. But the lunch they have in sooo good. Perfect for a picnic or to bring back to work.

On the lunch menu they have many different vegan, gluten free options; like quinoa bowl, fresh salads and hot soups. But, the best think on the menu is the magnificent kale wraps. I always go for one of them. You decide what you want to have as the “filling” and then they wrap a steamed kale leaf around it.

If you want to order the “Eddie Special” you ask for:
Baby spinach, quinoa, artichoke hearts, raw broccoli, black beans, celery, edamame beans, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and the asian sesame vinaigrette. And sometimes I’ll add some tofu.

These pictures is from last week when I enjoyed a kale wrap with my dear friend Daniel in a park called Humlegården in the central of Stockholm. One of the last summery days.

Lovisa is back!

My friend Lovisa has been working in Greece for a while – but now she’s back home!

Yesterday morning me and some of my closest girlfriends met up for a early breakfast to catch up. Had such a good time! The place we went to wasn’t really vegan/clean/superfood-friendly so I just had a black coffee with steamed soy milk on the side. The other munched american pancakes, yoghurt, bacon and buttery granola. OMG, am I really allowed to even write BACON on this blog?!

Afterwords me and Lovisa headed down to city. We made a stop at Eat Ekoaffären and bought raw food bars for my trip and then continued down to Freshii.

Freshii is a fast food lunch place at Grev Turegatan 1 that I really recommend. I love the kale wraps they make there, and it’s for a good price as well. We also bumped into Olle at Freshii. You see, it’s a popular place! ;)

No picuture of my lunch but I can tell you that it was filled with quinoa, baby spinach, edamame beans, black beans, celery, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, tofu, artichoke hearts, avocado and spicy sesame dressing. It’s gluten free since the “bread” is made of steamed kale. Soooo filling!

In the afternoon I had coffee with Rasmus. Later we met up with my mum, brother and stepdad and enjoyed Lily & Hanna’s raw food ice cream at 8T8. Lovely day!
